In this video tutorial we can see how to replace the brake pads and the rear brake disc on a Mercedes A-Class with electronic parking brake, following the guide in the vehicle's use and maintenance manual. The first thing to do is lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate rod. Next step, unscrew the cap that contains the brake fluid and cover it with a cloth. Put the brakes in place for replacement. Once this procedure has been done we have to remove the wheel and start disassembling the brake caliper; to remove the caliper you have to go and act on the 13 bolt and from this with the 17, so let's unscrew the external bolt; once this is done it is possible to extract the pliers, being careful not to bend the pipes. To also replace the brake disc we have to unscrew the screw using a T30 Allen; before removing the disc it is necessary to remove the brake caliper support, to do this you must use an E18 key to loosen the screws. Loosen the screws and the caliper support can be removed.
