Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment; unscrew the screws securing the plastic panel above the kick panel and remove it to access the air duct; then slide the two white plastic clips outward to release the cap and extract the old filter; remove any dirt residue from inside the filter box and insert the new one, respecting the airflow direction indicated by the arrows on the filter itself. When replacing the filter, it is also recommended to sanitize the cabin with a bactericidal spray.
