If you hear a creaking coming from the engine compartment, especially when driving on the bumpy road, it is likely that the front shock absorber supports have yielded: in this case the replacement does not require the complete disassembly of the shock absorbers themselves, but you can proceed by first removing the support present on the struts of the shock absorbers and then the fixing nuts of the support on the struts themselves; at this point lift the car with a jack until the wheel is lifted off the ground and press on the shock absorber rod to lower it enough to remove the old support and insert the new one; finally tighten the fixing nuts of the support and then reassemble the bracket.
