Removing the Drive Shaft

The procedure for removing the drive shaft is a bit complex, as the shaft is one of the most important components that ensures the movement of the driven wheels. The central axle completes, via a splined profile, two front and two rear universal joints. For the operation to be performed correctly, the car must be placed on a level surface to provide better visibility. Then, loosen the fastening pins of the joints, and proceed to detach the bracket that is bolted to the car's chassis. After completing this operation, leverage the reducer to move the drive shaft towards the differential so that it can be detached from the vehicle.
