A pump is a machine that uses moving mechanical parts to transfer fluid material. The pump operates in a closed environment, between the suction pipe and the discharge pipe. The following guide shows how to replace it in several steps. Once its position is identified, lift the car on that side and remove the wheel for easy access. After loosening the bolts that hold it in place, you can remove it. The new pump should be fitted by tightening the bolts securely, then reconnect the belt and refit the wheel that was previously removed.
