Replacing the Fuel Pump Fuse

If the engine struggles to start, the first thing to check is whether fuel is reaching the engine, meaning the pump in the tank should activate when the ignition is turned on. Usually, you can hear the pump activating in the cabin when the ignition is switched on. If this does not happen, the first thing to check is the integrity of the fuel pump's protection fuse, located in the boot, just in front of the battery. Remove the load floor cover and access the fuse, replacing it with one of the same rating.
