Replace the Clips Holding the Injector Springs

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

Open the hood of the engine compartment and locate the position of the injectors. The springs that hold the injectors in place, protecting them from vibrations and keeping them aligned, are those "steel wires" indicated by the person in the video. At this point, locate the broken clips or retainers that hold the steel wire in place and remove them to replace them with new clips. To do this, use a simple screwdriver to pry them off. To install the new clips, snap them over the rubber seals and, if necessary, gently use another small screwdriver to secure them in position (as shown in the video). The clips are secured when you hear a click that locks them in place. The vehicle is a Mercedes diesel Class E.
