To remove the manufacturer's emblem, we open the hood of the engine compartment. On the inside of the hood we identify the hole inside which the emblem is located. We hold the emblem steady with our fingers and with pliers, we rotate the interlocking mechanism counterclockwise. At this point we can extract the emblem by pulling it from its position on the outside of the hood. To insert the new emblem, we insert it in the hole that houses it, we hold it still with our fingers and, from the lower part of the hood, we rotate (with pliers) the locking mechanism clockwise. The car on which the maintenance is carried out is a Mercedes E-Class.
