Removing the Manufacturer Emblem

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

To remove the manufacturer emblem, open the hood. Inside the hood, locate the hole where the emblem is situated. Hold the emblem in place with your fingers and, using pliers, rotate the locking mechanism counterclockwise. At this point, you can pull the emblem out from its position on the exterior of the hood. To install the new emblem, insert it into the hole, hold it steady with your fingers, and from the underside of the hood, rotate (with pliers) the locking mechanism clockwise. The vehicle undergoing this maintenance is a Mercedes E-Class.
