If the battery of your Mercedes B-Class runs flat, not only will it prevent the engine from starting, but the lack of electrical power will also lock the automatic gearbox. To allow you to move the car to a garage, you need to manually unlock the gearbox.

Sit in the driver's seat and remove the cup holder located behind the gear lever. This will give you access to a compartment, where, at the front, on a white plastic support, you will find a button.

Pressing this button will allow you to move the gear lever to "N", enabling you to move your vehicle.
