To reset the automatic transmission in the Mercedes C-Class, you need to turn on the instrument cluster by turning the ignition key in the ignition switch. Once the instrument cluster is on, press the accelerator pedal for about twenty seconds. After this time, you can release the accelerator pedal and turn off the instrument cluster. When it is turned on again, you can verify that the automatic transmission has been correctly reset to its initial settings.
