In this video, learn how to activate Eco mode on a Mercedes vehicle: you can do this using the "dynamic select" button, located on the centre console, just to the left of the central red button. On the multimedia display, you can immediately see that the mode has been activated, and consequently, the parameters are modified. The unique feature of this mode is what is referred to in Italian as "gliding", meaning that when you release the accelerator pedal, the vehicle essentially coasts, as if it were sailing. This mode is extremely useful for saving fuel on long journeys and activates only if the vehicle recognises certain parameters, such as coolant temperature, speed, and gradients.
