Replacement of Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005

To replace the front headlamp bulbs, you must remove the headlamp itself as there is not enough space to operate from the engine bay; therefore, open the front bonnet and detach the trim applied just below the headlamp to access the first two fixing nuts of the headlamp; then remove the pin that secures the headlamp to the slam panel and pull it forward to gain more working space; then remove the cap to access the bulb holder and release it by turning it anti-clockwise before disconnecting the connector and installing the new bulb.
