How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes C-Class

This video tutorial shows how to reset the service light on a 2013 Mercedes C-Class 300. This procedure is useful after performing an oil change, as the light may remain on. To reset the maintenance light, first turn the ignition to position 1. Then, use the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll until the odometer is displayed. Once you reach the odometer, press the call button and the OK button simultaneously. From the menu that appears, scroll to ASSYST PLUS and select it with the OK button. Now scroll to Full Service and confirm by pressing the OK button. Next, select Confirm Full Service. Finally, select the type of engine oil used and confirm by selecting Yes. At this point, restart the instrument cluster of the Mercedes to verify that the procedure was successful.
