How to Replace the Electric Window Switch

This guide shows how to replace the electric window switch in your car in case of failure or breakage, independently, without spending money on a mechanic. Changing the electric window switch is much simpler than it may seem at first glance. Take a medium-sized flathead screwdriver and gently pry at the corners of the old switch. To avoid damaging the plastic of the car's interior, it is advisable to place a cloth where you are prying, or wrap the tip of the screwdriver with it. The switch will tend to come off on its own. Once it is dislodged from its housing, disconnect the wire connector by simply pulling it towards you.
