This guide briefly explains how to remove and replace the shift knob on a Mercedes A-Class. First, get in the vehicle and start by detaching and removing the shift boot from the base of the lever. Then, disconnect the rubber ring located between the lever and the knob by pulling the knob upward with force to detach it along with the boot, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the shift knob with the new one, and if necessary, also replace the boot. Then, apply the reverse procedure for reassembly!
