Guide to Installing the Additional Control Unit

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005

The installation is not very complex; after removing the engine head cover, disconnect the cable shown in the video, then connect the connectors provided in the kit as shown in the guide and reposition the cover over the engine. Secure the control unit in a safe place, and the job is complete.

The illustrated procedure is valid for Mercedes models C, CLK, CLS, E, G, GL, MBC, ML, R, S 320 with 224 hp, E class, ML 280 CDI with 204 hp, and AMG C30 CDI with 213 hp. Most additional control units follow this simplified installation method, but it is advisable to inform yourself before purchasing.
