Replacing the Diesel Fuel Filter on the Mercedes A-Class W176

In this video, learn how to replace the diesel fuel filter on the Mercedes A-Class W176. Open the hood and locate the filter on the passenger side, near the windshield. Disconnect the electrical connector, then use a 8mm Torx socket wrench to remove the two screws that secure the clamp holding the filter. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clamps that secure the two hoses. Place a rag under the filter to catch any diesel fuel that may spill from the hoses, and carefully pull them out of the rubber holders, using the screwdriver as needed. Position the new filter, remove the rag, insert the hoses, and tighten the clamps with the appropriate pliers. Reattach the clamp and secure it with the screws, then reconnect the electrical connector. Turn the ignition on and off several times to fill the fuel system.
