After changing the engine oil on the Mercedes GLE, you need to reset the system that alerts you to the need for service. Sit in the driver's seat and press the "start" button to turn on the instrument cluster.

Select the mileage screen from the central menu, then press and hold the "back" and "navigation" buttons on the left side of the steering wheel for five seconds. Press "back" and a menu will appear.

Scroll left to select "workshop," then "assyst plus," followed by "full service" and "confirm service." Select the type of oil and confirm the subsequent entries.
