How to Replace the Water Radiator and Thermostat on a Mercedes 190

Replacing the water radiator and coolant thermostat will be very simple if you follow our video guide. The first step is to open the engine bay and loosen the clamp on the upper coolant hose.

Once loosened, you can detach part of the hose, allowing you to remove the fan housing, clean the area, and install a new one. After installing the new fan, tighten the clamp on the lower coolant hose. Now, let's move on to removing the thermostat; first, disconnect the connector with a 10mm spanner and then unscrew the top part.

Clean the mounting seat of the thermostat housing and install the new one. Finally, tighten the clamp on the expansion tank hose.
