How to replace the battery of the Mercedes W211 remote control

Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the remote control of the Mercedes E-Class. The first step to take is to press the button on the top of the remote to extract the internal metal key. Once the key is removed, we can move on to the second step. The second step is to insert the key into the same hole, in order to open the remote's cover. The third step is to remove the key's battery. Insert a new battery and close the cover, reinsert the key and test the key's functionality.
