How to Replace the Key Battery in a Mercedes

The replacement process is similar for almost all models from this manufacturer, as the key is a very uniform element across each model. Remove the keychain ring and then remove the internal part of the key, which consists of the mechanical key. Use a metal key to insert it into the small slot next to it to release the guide that will allow the battery slot to come out. Now, simply replace it with the new battery and reassemble everything.
