To replace the battery in the remote for the Mercedes A-Class, pry open the back of the device to detach the cover located there. Once removed, you can slide out the battery tray from the left side.

After the battery tray is removed, insert the new replacement battery into it; then close the remote by putting the panel back on and check that everything works correctly.
