To activate the windshield wipers on a Mercedes C-Class, first turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch. Once the dashboard lights up, locate the lever that activates the wipers on the left side of the dashboard.

At this point, press the button at the end of the lever to activate the windshield washer fluid, and rotate the dial on the lever to adjust the wiper speed. You can stop using the wipers by turning off the vehicle.
