How to open the trunk of the Mercedes Benz A-Class from the inside

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012

Opening the trunk of the Mercedes A-Class model W169 is possible and to perform this operation you will need only one tool, a flathead screwdriver. To perform this forced opening in an emergency, you will need to get into the vehicle and fold down the rear seats to access the trunk. Remove the lock cover with the screwdriver and play with the internal lever, pushing it to the left until it unlocks. Once you have unlocked the lock, the trunk will open. The only drawback of this forced emergency opening is that the lock will need to be replaced afterwards.
