How to disassemble the starter motor in the Mercedes CLA?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the starter motor in the Mercedes CLA, a simple operation but one that requires good manual dexterity. First of all, make sure that the engine is sufficiently cold, then open the hood, remove the battery cover and, starting from the negative terminal, disconnect both terminals. Next, unscrew the bolt of the lower mounting bracket, remove the battery, its support and the air filter box. At this point we can unscrew the mounting bolts of the starter motor, disconnect the power poles and install the replacement.
