Then, open the hood, remove the battery cover, and starting with the negative terminal, disconnect both terminals. Next, remove the bolt for the lower mounting bracket, take out the battery, the battery tray, and the air filter housing.

At this point, you can remove the starter motor mounting bolts, disconnect the power leads, and install the replacement part.
