In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the EGR valve on the Mercedes Sprinter van, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is cool enough, then open the bonnet, disconnect the expansion tank hose, and remove the oil inlet duct.

Next, disconnect the valve sensor connector, also disconnect the two ducts, and undo the fastening bolts with a socket spanner. At this point, you can remove the valve from the bracket, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything.
