In this tutorial we can see how to replace the EGR valve in the Mercedes Sprinter van, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then open the hood, disconnect the expansion tank tube and remove the oil inlet duct. Next, disconnect the valve sensor connector, also disconnect the two ducts and unscrew the fixing bolts with a socket wrench. At this point we can remove the valve from the support, insert the replacement and reassemble everything.
