Replacing the Ignition Coil in Your Car

To replace the ignition coil in your car, open the hood, remove the cover on the engine secured by screws or clips depending on your situation. Next, remove the rubber grommets covering the coil, and then remove the pins with the appropriate wrenches. After completing these steps, use your fingers to apply force on the piece, wiggling it left and right, and pull it upward. Now take the new coil and insert it into place, secure it with the pins, position the rubber grommet on top of the piece, then reassemble everything, and your repair is complete.
