The most important preliminary step in this process is to disconnect the battery terminals to avoid damaging sensitive circuits. Next, release the hood from the latch and lift it up, securing it with the prop rod. Now you can locate the bolts that secure each headlight. Remove these bolts to take out the headlight, then disconnect the connector at the back of the headlight. After that, remove the protective cover and extract the bulb that needs to be replaced. Finally, retrace the steps in reverse to reassemble the various components you removed.
