MG 3 - Video tutorial

Model: MG 3 MK 1 - Years 2008-2011
Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: How to prevent the DC/CC converter of the Mg 3 from getting wet.

As seen very well in the video, the part underneath the seat got wet and as a consequence, the Mg3 car wouldn't start because the DC/CC Converter is located under the seat, in this case, in the middle of the water. To prevent this from happening again, the converter will have to be placed in a different location. It is necessary to remove the front seat and the side bands to remove the upholstery and locate the converter. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the converter from its housing. As seen in the video, you will have to position it on the side bar once the carpet is replaced. Bolt it to the body with a drill and screws.
