How to Change the Key Battery on the MG Hector

To replace the key battery on this vehicle model independently, follow the instructions provided below for safe operation. First, extract the emergency key. Then, take a small screwdriver to pry open the side of the remote and detach the cover. Underneath, you will find the compartment that holds the battery. Use the same screwdriver to remove the 3 screws securing the underlying cover. After that, you can extract the battery and replace it with the new one. Then, screw the screws back in and reattach the outer cover.
