How to disassemble the door panel and window motor on Mini R50

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Door trim panel

Remove the screws and plastics that secure the panel to the door. These are often hidden even inside the door handle. Disconnect the electrical connectors of the window motor. Carefully pry around the edge of the door panel to release the plastic clips. Lift the panel to remove it from the door. Disassembly of the window motor: lower the window so that you can access the screws or bolts that secure the window motor to the door. Disconnect the electrical connector of the motor. Remove the screws or bolts that secure the window motor. Remove the motor from the door. Remember to turn off the engine and disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting any electrical work to avoid short circuits or damage.
