Removing the Door Panel of a Mini Cooper 2014

Using a plastic wedge, pry off the area of the window switch and remove the three T20 Torx screws located underneath it. To fully extract the switch, disconnect its connector. At this point, use the plastic lever to pry around the panel, lifting it a small section at a time and pulling it out from the door.

Voila! Done! If you wish, you can also easily detach the trim above the panel, at the base of the window. As you can see, removing the panel on this car model is much easier and quicker than usual, where you often have to unscrew many bolts underneath and to the side of the panel.
