Replacing the Battery on a Mini R56

With the engine off and the handbrake engaged, lift the bonnet and secure it. Remove the plastic cover indicated in the video near the windscreen by unscrewing the 10 mm nuts and removing the rubber near it. Once the top plastic is removed, you can see the battery.

Unscrew and then disconnect the two terminals, remembering to always start with the negative terminal and then move to the positive.

Completely remove the plastic box to extract it, then grab it by the handle and you're done. Reverse the process for reassembly.
