How do you open the hood of the Mini Cooper?

In this short and simple guide we will see how to open the hood of the Mini Cooper, following the instructions below. First we open the front door and start pulling the small lever that we find at the bottom on the driver's side, in order to unlock the engine hood lock; then let's move to the front of the car and lift our bonnet (which is then held suspended by the hydraulic pistons) as shown in the video. We just have to close our engine hood, pushing it down and applying light pressure.
