How to change the spark plugs on a 2011 Mitsubishi ASX: you will need 4 NGK spark plugs, which can be found on eBay with code 122090927830 for £29.99 with free delivery; a spark plug socket, an Allen key, and some dielectric grease. Remove the cover from the engine block, unscrew the three bolts, and disconnect the coils. Remove the fastening screw from each coil and gently pull them out. Use a 16mm socket to remove the spark plugs by turning counterclockwise, and do not force if you encounter resistance, as this could damage the threads. Insert the new plugs by hand, then tighten them with the socket to a torque of 18/20 Nm. Reinsert the coils, reconnect the electrical connectors, and replace the engine block cover. It is advisable to replace one spark plug at a time to avoid confusion; use compressed air to clean the spark plug wells before removing them. Apply dielectric grease to the coil connectors to prevent corrosion.
