Let's see how to change the cabin air filter on a Mitsubishi ASX: the vehicle shown in the video has right-hand drive, but aside from the location, nothing changes for left-hand drives: the compartment containing the filter is always behind the glove box. This must be emptied, then the support tabs of the glove box should be bent inward to allow it to drop down (it is not necessary to remove it completely). Behind, you will find a rectangular compartment placed horizontally; open the flap, and behind it, you will find the filter, which you can remove by simply pulling it towards you. Clean the compartment that held the filter with a cloth or a blast of low-pressure compressed air, then insert the new filter, ensuring it is fitted correctly. Close the compartment and then replace the glove box. And there you have it!
