Replacement of Remote Key Cover

Model: Mitsubishi Lancer MK 8 - Years 2000-2006

To disassemble and possibly replace the key cover, simply unscrew the small screw at the base of the metal key (colloquially called the blade) and separate the shells that make up the remote; then extract the internal remote and the rubber buttons shaped like a gasket (if the rubber buttons are damaged, they can be purchased aftermarket along with the shells); to reassemble, first insert the rubber buttons, then the remote, and finally the rear shell, securing it with the corresponding screw.
