Spark Plug Replacement Instructions

Model: Mitsubishi Lancer MK 9 - Years 2007-2020

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Remove the plastic cover above the engine, unscrew the fixing bolt of the ignition coil, and pull out the connector. Before removing the spark plug, ensure there is no dirt in the socket; as a precaution, blow it out with compressed air. Unscrew the spark plug, remove it from its socket, and install the new one without exceeding the torque specification. Refit the connector ensuring it is properly seated and secure the ignition coil.
