When you need to refuel and it may be your first time using this car model, you might find yourself searching for the button or lever to open the fuel filler flap; generally, the cap is locked via the central locking system, so once the car is unlocked, the fuel filler flap is ready to be opened; however, many manufacturers, especially Japanese ones, have added an extra safety feature, activating the flap opening through a secondary control using a button or lever, as is the case with the model examined: the lever is located next to the driver's side scuff plate.
