Instructions for Removing the Rear Bumper

Model: Mitsubishi Lancer MK 8 - Years 2000-2006

To remove the rear bumper, start by opening the boot and removing the rear lights (there are two fixing screws along the inner edge); disconnect the side reflectors by releasing their connectors; remove the plastic cover from the scuff plate and proceed to remove the fixing pins of the bumper along the bonnet closure line; then unscrew the screws along the wheel arch and the one fixing it to the wing. At this point, you can detach and remove the bumper after disconnecting the number plate light connector.
