Changing the engine oil and its filter is the typical do-it-yourself maintenance but it is recommended to dispose of the used oil and the filter at an authorized collection center; the oil filter is located on the side of the engine, immediately ducted to the intake sleeve: then unhook the sleeve to access the filter and be able to remove it; then apply clean oil on the gasket of the new filter and screw it in without exceeding the tightening torque; then proceed with disassembling the protection plate to exceed the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug; once the sump has been emptied, refit the cap and the protective shield and then fill the engine with clean oil up to the maximum level.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
