Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Changing the engine oil and filter is typical DIY maintenance, but it is important to dispose of the used oil and filter at an authorised collection centre. The oil filter is located on the side of the engine, just below the intake hose. Disconnect the hose to access the filter and remove it. Apply clean oil to the gasket of the new filter and screw it on without exceeding the torque specification. Next, remove the protective plate to access the oil sump and unscrew the drain plug. After draining the sump, refit the plug and protective shield, then fill the engine with clean oil until reaching the maximum level.
