In this video, we will see how to change the PCV filter on a Mitsubishi Fuso Canter 4P10: changing this filter every three oil changes prevents error codes and the engine light from coming on. For this job, you will need a 13 mm spanner, a flat screwdriver, a pair of circlip pliers, some curved needle-nose pliers, and a 10 mm socket.

The model in question has a thermal cover on the filter due to its use in an area where winter temperatures are very low, but not all models will have this.

First, remove that, then unscrew the screws holding the filter in place, taking off the heater first and then opening the cover. Using the curved needle-nose pliers, remove the sealing ring, and then you can take out the filter.

Insert the new filter, which the YouTuber shows the exact technical specifications for, as a Mitsubishi replacement, replace the sealing ring, and change the shaft gasket on the other side after lubricating it well with clean oil (the Mitsubishi specifications are also provided for this).

Change the sealing O-ring of the filter cover and then you can reassemble.

Close the cover, refit the heater in its place, and close the thermal cover. Job done.
