In this guide, you will learn how to change the oil and reset the light on a Mitsubishi Fuso with a 4P10 engine: the filter is located on the left side of the engine, which you will warm up. You will need a 32 mm socket and a 13 mm socket for the plug. First, drain the oil from the sump into a suitable container; ensure you dispose of it at an authorised centre. You can find the filter on eBay with code 393243278325 for £19.00 including shipping, while for the plug with gasket, Auto-doc offers it with code 80 93 0180 for £2.80, but shipping costs £9.00. Change the oil filter, also replacing the O-ring, lubricating it well with new oil, then refit the new plug to the oil sump and refill with new oil. You will need approximately 6 litres of oil. Check the recommended oil type in your manual, start the engine for a few minutes, and then check the level. Now reset the maintenance interval: turn on the ignition, press the accelerator pedal for 20 seconds while pressing the brake pedal 6 times. Release both pedals, and you are done.
