How to clean the airflow meter of the Nissan Qashqai J11

In this video we see how to identify and then clean the airflow meter of the Nissan Qashqai J11: the component is located between the air filter and the intake pipe. The airflow meter is nothing more than a sensor, which measures the amount of air that enters the engine and sends it to the ECU, which manages the injectors, which then spray diesel into the engine; if the airflow meter communicates incorrect data, then the engine will not function properly. Before replacing it, it is advisable to disassemble and clean it, as it is located in a very convenient place, disconnecting only the electrical connectors and removing the fixing bolts; the sensor is the blue one seen in the video. Close the housing, to prevent anything from getting in, then on the bench we will check the condition of the sensor. If the electrical part deteriorates, the error that appears in the ECU is P0101; we will clean the contacts with a specific WD-40 for this use, which can be found on E-bay with code 234596716534 at 12.00 euros, + 3 euros for delivery. We must spray at a distance of at least 10 cm; being a specific product, it dries immediately. Let's reassemble it, making sure the arrow points towards the engine. Put back the screws and then reconnect the electrical connector. Operation completed.
