How to Remove the Front Brake Disc of a Nissan Micra

In this video, learn how to remove the front brake disc of a Nissan Micra. Position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Use a socket or air impact wrench to remove the bolts and take off the wheel. Next, unscrew the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket. Use a screwdriver to remove the brake pads. Now, take off the caliper bracket and unscrew the bolts on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to slide it off the hub. Apply grease to the bolts and prepare all parts for reassembly. Fit the brake disc with all associated bolts, tighten the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all bolts are tightened properly. Before fitting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the bolt. Finally, fit the wheel with the bolts.
