To replace the battery of the Nissan X-Trail key, we need to lift the metal side key and insert a flat tip screwdriver into the hole in order to apply slight pressure that will allow us to open the remote. Once the remote is open, we can proceed with the battery replacement. We then insert a new battery into the remote and proceed with closing it. We just need to go near the vehicle to test the remote's functionality; if it has any malfunctions, it may be necessary to reprogram it.
