How to Change the Remote Key Battery of the Nissan X Trail

Do you want to change the battery in your X Trail key? Here’s how to replace the battery inside the Nissan key. Take your remote key and press the button to release the key blade inside. Once the key blade is removed, use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover, then extract the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage, and insert it into the designated slot. Refit the cap on the remote cover, pressing the two parts of the key until you hear a click. Test the remote key to ensure it works correctly, then insert the key blade back inside.
