Change the Battery of a Nissan X-Trail Key

Is the battery of your Nissan key exhausted? Here’s how to open the key to change the battery. Remove the metal key from the Nissan remote. Using a screwdriver, pry between the two parts of the plastic cover. Separate the two parts of the remote (without damaging them). Remove the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage, and insert it into the key. Rejoin the two plastic parts until fully secured. Check the proper functioning of the Nissan remote key by operating the buttons. Finally, insert the metal key back into the key.
