How to remove the indicator stalk on a Nissan Qashqai? Follow these steps for disassembly: Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery cables. Use a screwdriver and the appropriate bit to remove the steering wheel covers, then remove the airbag by unscrewing the screws. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power connectors, then unscrew the central Torx bolt of the steering wheel and disconnect the power connectors. Pull the steering wheel off by hand after marking the tightening position with a marker. After removing the steering wheel, extract the indicator stalk from the steering column.
