How to Replace the Key Battery on a Nissan Qashqai

Follow these steps to replace the battery in the key fob of a Nissan Qashqai: take your key fob and use a screwdriver to pry apart the two covers (split the covers as shown in the video). Pry until the covers separate, then, use a small screwdriver to remove the worn battery. Get a new battery of the same size and voltage. Remove the small battery from the cover and replace it with the new one, press the key case until you hear it click into place. Finally, reassemble the two covers and check the proper functioning of the remote by pressing the buttons.
